Craft Rum distilling is an art but it is one that Jacobite Spirits want to share and make an inclusive, exciting experience. We’re not about being too hipster, too cool, too smart or too exclusive…we’re just about making great Rum and building flavour profiles that people love. And our Jacobite Rum creations are really starting to get noticed.
Our first product is a bold, strong and highly unique blend of international spices and Scottish botanicals- The 45 Scottish Spiced Rum is a great place to start. Craft distilled in the UK, we do everything from scratch and we’ve done our best to source as much as we can from British suppliers- even our bottles are made right here in Scotland.
We launched Charlie’s Chopper Raspberry Cranachan Scottish Spiced Rum in late 2020 and it’s already become a firm favourite as a limited edition bottle. Combining our hand-crafted base rum spirit, made from fermented molasses on site at our Glasgow Distillery, it brings together the flavours of a Scottish summer. It’s absolutely incredible to taste real, Scottish raspberries in this, but make no mistake, this is still a classic rum! We just think we can pull on the influences of the history of rum- from Poncha in Madeira to Rum punch and beyond. A fruity, Scottish Rum from the home of spiced rum in Glasgow.
